St Catherine's News

18 July 2021

From Monday the 19th social distancing regulations will no longer be law. At St Catherine's, we feel that a gradual relaxing of these restrictions regarding worship in church is preferable. From the 25th July, there will be some changes.

The majority of the seating will be as it was pre-coved, but there will still be single and double chairs for those who are anxious about sitting too closely with others.

Face coverings will still be required while moving around inside the church, but will no longer be necessary while seated.

Congregational singing is now permitted, hurray!

We are now able to use the chalice again for communion. For those who feel uncomfortable in sharing the chalice,  an alternative provision will be made.
