St Catherine's News and Notices!
23rd Jan 2022
If you would be interested in joining one of the cell groups please do speak to a member of the ministry team.
The cell groups over the next few weeks will be looking at the Growing Good resource. The purpose of the Growing Good Toolkit is to equip and encourage churches for holistic growth and community transformation. Joining the dots between social action, discipleship and growth. If you would be interested in joining the sessions then please speak to Martin or lee.
The good news is that John Tilney and Charles Read are now on the mend. Please do keep them in your prayers.
Simon gave us an update today on the money raised from the recent chip and quiz night. Over £383. Thank you again to everybody that helped out.
Over the next few months, we will be having a quiet morning in church on the last Saturday of the month, between 9 AM and 12 PM. The idea for the quiet morning is to give some time to draw closer to God in prayer.
We will gather together at 9 for a short act of worship and this month there will be areas in the church where you can spend time in prayer if you wish. Alternatively, you could just bring a book and enjoy the peace. You do not have to stay for the whole time, dip in and out of the morning as much as you are able. We just ask that we respect the space of others.
We will then come together just before 12 to close in prayer. This quiet morning is open to anybody wishing to come so please invite others that you feel may appreciate this time.
If you have any questions or ideas that we could use for the quiet morning, please don't hesitate to contact me.
